Sell It Off runs the marketplace at sellitoffnow.com, starting with Nigeria. This policy describes personal information we handle when you use the site, contact us, or appear in a listing we share on our Facebook Page or Instagram account.

• Account details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and sign-in credentials.
• Listing details: the description, price, photos, and the area or neighborhood you choose. We store that area name, not a precise street address.
• Messages you send to another member about a listing.
• Payment results. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive whether a payment succeeded, not your full card number.
• Support messages you send by email, the contact form, or WhatsApp.
• Usage information collected automatically, such as pages you open, approximate device and browser details, and cookies or similar tools. We use these to run the site, reduce abuse, and understand what is working. That includes Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, and the Meta Pixel when those tools are turned on.
• Place searches. When you look up an area, that search can be sent to Google Maps. We keep the area you confirm.

• To create your account and let you buy and sell.
• To show listings and help buyers and sellers arrange pickup.
• To take payments, hold funds, and handle refunds.
• To send service messages by email, and by WhatsApp when you use that channel.
• To keep the site safe, including a check on signup that reduces automated signups.
• To understand how people use Sell It Off and improve it.
• To publish some listing photos and captions on our Facebook Page and Instagram account, with a link back to the matching page on this site.

Anything you put on a public listing can be seen by people who open that listing. After a buyer pays, the buyer and seller receive the contact details they need to complete pickup.

We share information with providers who help us run Sell It Off: hosting, payments, email, WhatsApp, maps, analytics, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when we publish a post or measure visits. We do not sell personal information.

Email support@sellitoffnow.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data. You can also use the contact form.

We will delete or remove the account information we hold. We may keep a limited record when we need it for a payment, a refund, fraud prevention, or a legal claim.

Sell It Off is a marketplace for adults. We do not aim the site at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top is the latest revision.
